A Gorgeously Spectacular Human Form of Chaos...

I'm rather sarcastic, I love making people laugh and performing, which is why I want to be...a journalist...? Doesn't really make much sense to me either but oh well. I laugh just as much at intelligent political satire as I do British action comedy humor as I do jokes only 12-year-old boys have the right to like. My iPod on shuffle is heaven to me, I pride myself on having at least one song everyone can listen to.

Truth runs my life.

(In the vein of truth, unless noted, I do not own or claim copyright to any music, photography or other intellectual property unless specified below...and if it is mine, don't steal it, please and thank you!)

I have a deep love for Tarantino, Audrey Hepburn, lots of throw pillows, Democratic talking heads, sushi, lollipops, new shoes & bikinis I don't need, varied amazing (and awesomely crappy) music and movies, healthy debate, international journalism, hot showers, irony, deep voices, scruffy boys I can never have and my self-deprecating personality.

I despise hypocrisy and disrespect. Conversely, a passionate person is a wonderful person to me. Sometimes I'm shallow, sometimes I'm deep, but I'm always 100% genuine.

And if you don't like it...hey, it's only the Internet, don't take it so seriously! :]

Ask me anything!
Hilarious.

Hilarious.

newagenda asked: How are you doing, Jazmine?

Lovely. Busy. Feeling really old. You?

Getting real journalism nerdy now … but what a fantastic picture.

I have spent an embarrassingly long time playing that game before. Childhood memories.

This is my first and only tattoo. It’s of Darwin’s famous finches, but with their beaks turned toward one another, forming a sort of butterfly. I am an undergraduate biology major and this tattoo symbolizes my adoration for evolution and the natural sciences as well as my respect for Charles Darwin’s genius. The tattoo was done by Liaa Walter at British Ink in Washington, DC. She is wonderful and I plan on having more work done by her!

That is suuuper cool. The biological anthropologist in me is diggin’ it.
